Have A Baby In The Sims 2

Have a Baby in the Sims 2

Having a baby in the Sims 2 is much different from the first version of The Sims. You must use a male sim and a female sim. You can choose one of three locations: the bed, hot tub or the clothing booth. There is a 60 percent chance the female will get pregnant from the bed, a 50 percent chance in the clothing booth and a 25 percent chance in the hot tub. There is no way to guarantee that your female sim will become pregnant. A sim pregnancy lasts around four sim days.

Instructions

1. Move both of your sims to one of the three locations to begin trying for a baby.

2. Select "Try for Baby" from the option box that appears. If you succeeded, you will hear a lullaby sound.

3. Clean up after your sim the next day because she will be throwing up and peeing more than normal.

4. Cook and clean with your male sim or other sims in the household. The pregnant sim should only be relaxing during her time of pregnancy.

5. Feed your pregnant sim every time she is hungry.

6. Keep up with your pregnant sim's motives. They will be depleting rapidly throughout her pregnancy.

7. Watch your sim closely on days three and four because she will go into labor on one of these days. When this happens, the game will pause and the camera and other sims will direct themselves on the pregnant sim.

8. Enjoy your new member of the sim family. Take care of it just as you do your other sims.
