Make A Pdf File A Fillin Form

Create a fill-in form in Adobe Acrobat.

Adobe Acrobat provides interactive features you can use to convert existing documents or blank pages to a fill-in form. Use this ability to create electronic PDF applications or surveys. Acrobat's Form Wizard will take you through the steps to create a form and customize with different types of fill-in fields. It's a good idea to create the content and design the form in another program before making it interactive in Acrobat.

Instructions

1. Open Adobe Acrobat. Under the "Forms" menu, select "Start Form Wizard."

2. Select "An Existing Electronic Document" to convert a file you've already created, such as a Word document or Adobe InDesign file.

3. Follow the instructions to set up the form. Alternatively, create a form from scratch by selecting "File, Create PDF, From Blank Page" and then using the Start Form Wizard.

4. Under "Forms," choose "Add or Edit Fields" to begin creating fill-in fields.

5. Click "Add New Field." Select "Show Tools on Toolbar." From the toolbar, select a tool to create a form field. Each tool serves a different type of field, such as a fill-in text field or a check box.

6. Click where you want to add a field. Drag a rectangle to customize the size of the box.

7. Modify the properties of the field by double-clicking it. The Properties dialog box will appear. Make changes as needed.

8. Continue adding new form fields to complete your interactive form.

9. Click the "Preview" button to test the form. To return to editing, click the "Edit Layout" button.
