Change facilitators are individuals who develop a structured or controlled process for improvement or change, and typically work for a large organization, or as a consultant.

These professionals manage changes to positively impact a working environment or improve productivity.

Change facilitators work with individuals, teams, businesses or organizations in need of functional changes or improvements.


Time Frame


A time frame is set for the process, and can range from a few months to a few years depending on the needs of the group or individual.


Process


A process is developed using one or several strategies in change management, and is selected depending on the factors and individuals involved. These professionals often go through extensive training of different processes to effectively develop plans for change in a variety of settings.


Significance


Following a structured process for significant changes allows for minimal disruption or loss, and positively influences those resistant or concerned regarding the improvements or re-organization.
