Customers can choose from a wide variety of classes, ranging from basic puppy training to more challenging classes for the advanced learner. PetSmart's accredited pet training instructors promote positive reinforcement techniques in the real-world environment of their in-store classrooms. Signing up for a class is a very simple process.
Instructions
1. Consult with an in-store PetSmart trainer or check the PetSmart Training website to select the best option for your dog. PetSmart currently offers five different dog training classes: puppy, beginner, intermediate and advanced education and "click-a-trick" education. They also offer private education and the PetsHotel Personal Training Camp.
2. To sign up for a training course, you must fill out an enrollment form at a local PetSmart store. These forms can either be acquired at the in-store classroom or by inquiring at the register. Requested information includes the owner's name and contact information, the pet's name, age and breed and the specific class you are signing up for.
3. Take the completed enrollment form to a register at your local PetSmart. There you can pay the cost of the class, which runs about $90, depending on location. The cashier will keep one copy of the form to save your space in class and you will take another copy home as a receipt.
