Attractions In Seguin Texas

The ZDT's Amusement Park is fun for the entire family.


Seguin is one of the oldest towns in Texas and was established in 1838. The Guadalupe River runs through the south side of the city. The scenic lakes in Sequin provide outdoor enthusiasts hours of entertainment boating, water skiing and fishing. There are many things to do and attractions to see in Seguin, including museums and historical statues.


ZDT's Amusement Park


The ZDT's Amusement Park in Seguin offers hours of endless fun for the entire family. The amusement park has go-karts, an indoor jungle playground, a rock climbing wall, video games, slides, parachute drop and an acrobatic trampoline. You can purchase a wristband for unlimited access to all attractions, all day for one price. The amusement park also does birthday parties and lock-ins. Daniellie's Kitchen is a restaurant located on-site and serves burgers, fries, nachos and other foods.

Max Starcke Park West


The Max Starcke Park is located along the Guadalupe River and offers many recreational activities. The park has an 18-hole golf course, basketball court, volleyball court and a tennis court. For children the park has a wave pool, the Kids Kingdom Playscape and a little league baseball complex. All throughout the park you will find picnic areas. The many picnic pavilions can be reserved (for a fee) for birthday parties, reunions and special events. Alcohol is permitted in certain areas of the park by permit only and fee applies.

The Heritage Museum


The Heritage Museum is located in the old Red and White Grocery Store building that was built in 1898. It is a two-story building constructed of red bricks and has a balcony. The museum can be found on the corner of North River Street and East Gonzales Street in Sequin. Admission to the museum is free; however, donations are welcome. For children the museum has ways to explore the history through a treasure hunt, animated stories and trivia. The museum tells the history of Sequin, including themes, cultures, ghosts and legends. Memberships can be purchased to the museum, and a gift shop is also available. All proceeds go towards projects for the museum.
