Connect a DS Using a Wi-Fi Connector


The Nintendo DS is a hand-held gaming console. One of the features of the Nintendo DS is that it has built-in wireless capability. The Nintendo DS can connect to almost any available wireless network. However, if you have a computer but don't have a wireless network, one of the alternatives you have is a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector, which automatically connects the DS to Nintendo Wi-Fi.


Instructions


1. Insert the installation CD into the computer's CD drive to activate the installer.


2. Follow the prompts that appear to install the software needed for the DS adapter.


3. Connect the DS adapter into the USB port on your computer


4. Insert a DS game with "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection" on it into the DS and turn it on.


5. Tap the game icon at the main screen with your stylus to activate the game.


6. Tap the "Options" setting and go to "Wireless Settings."


7. Tap the "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Controller" button to connect to the USB adapter you installed.
