Stop a Cat in Heat From Crying

One such challenge is coping with a cat that cries when she is in heat. You can take the following steps to stop your female cat from crying when she is in heat.

1. Keep your cat inside. A cat in heat might try to get outside to mate with a male cat.
2. Contact your vet to make an appointment for a check-up. Make sure your cat has a clean bill of health before proceeding to step three.
3. Schedule a time for your cat to be spayed. This is the only way to make your cat comfortable and stop her from crying. If your cat isn't spayed, she will cry when she is in heat. This can last for several days, and recur every three to five weeks.
