Decorating your "Sims" house makes it stand out from the homes of other Sims. This is especially true if you have rare or strange items. The Round Water Trough is an item that is only available to "Sims 3" players that have downloaded the "Riverview" expansion. This expansion was provided to players for free as an incentive against piracy and game sharing. Once you have added "Riverview" to your "Sims 3" installation, you'll earn access to a wide range of new, rural-themed items.
Instructions
1. Visit the "Sims 3" download page and locate the "Riverview" expansion.
2. Click "Add to Game" and log into your "Sims" account.
3. Click "Sims 3 is Installed" and hit "Download." Open the installer to add the expansion to your "Sims 3" install.
4. Open your copy of "The Sims 3" and load the marketplace.
5. Select the "Decorations" tab and hit the "All" button. You will find "Riverview" items near the bottom of the list.
6. Click the Round Water Trough to purchase it and add it to your home.
