Instructions
1. Determine whether you want to donate the car to the national Humane Society or to a local community affiliate. Not all affiliates accept cars as donations.
2. Visit the website or call the telephone number to you local Humane Society. If you want to make a local donation, inquire about the process. If they can't accept the vehicle, consider donating it to the national organization.
3. Visit the Humane Society website www.humanesociety.org to make a national donation.
4. Click on "Donate," and then choose "Turn your Car into a Contribution" at the bottom portion of the screen. You will be redirected to Auto-Donation.com; the Humane Society information will display as your selected charity.
5. Enter your vehicle's year, make and model. Enter the color, approximate mileage, condition and select whether the vehicle is drivable or not. Click on "Next."
6. Enter your personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number and the desired pick-up location. Click "Next" to verify the information, and then click "Submit Donation."
7. Wait for a representative to contact you by telephone. The representative will arrange a pick-up time to to come get the vehicle.
